I know this post is a little over a week late (it’s been kind of crazy around here), but Princess Amelia Rose is one month old as of March 6th! I can’t believe how fast the time went! This has been the fastest 5 weeks of my life- between NICU stays (over 2 weeks each… so she’s spent almost her entire life in the NICU) and having her home (we had her home for 4 days in between NICU stays and got her home again yesterday!), it’s also been the busiest, most stressful, and overwhelming, and the most joy-filled, life changing, and amazing time of our lives.

At one month old, our little Mia loves to eat, suck her pacifier, be held, and get mini massages with her baby lotion.
She doesn’t like diaper changes, taking her temperature, getting dressed, being undressed, and baths- she cries and cries until she actually turns purple! She weighs 7 lbs, 2 oz, has brown hair that seems like it is getting lighter every day, blue eyes, and wears size newborn. We brought her home last night from the NICU at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and though it was a long second first night, it’s so exciting to have her home (even if it does feel like we brought half of the NICU home with us in equipment!)!
