We went to Cava Winery (which is literally across the street from Grand Cascades Lodge) on Friday for our actual anniversary (in case I haven’t already mentioned it or in case you’re not following along on Instagram, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary this past weekend!) and we loved it! The grounds were really beautiful, the wine was really good, and the food was delicious. I knew we were going to walk from our resort to the winery and also knew that it was about a two mile walk so I wanted to be comfortable and warm so luckily I packed this cable knit sweater and these booties! I added a long sleeve tee under the sweater for warmth and these jeans because they’re super comfortable, too (and I feel polished when I’m wearing them!). I love the way the red-orange lip color pops against the marled black of the sweater and navy hat, too!

We had a mostly sleepless night last night from about 2 am on… I’m hoping that Amelia has some teeth that are ready to break through and that’s what is waking her up at night. This is the third night in a row that she’s been up and crying a ton (and listening to her cry when I know she’s in pain is the worst!). We don’t practice the cry it out method (I don’t run in every time she cries, though, either) so holding her and still feeling like you’re helpless is even worse! Tonight we have another sleep study so here’s to hoping she sleeps better tonight at least for that! Have a great day, guys! Thanks so much for stopping by!
