Mixing Stripes

1-057
Stripes on stripes is a tricky one when it comes to mixing prints.  Some of the tips I’ve learned include the following: one pattern should be smaller or slimmer than the other; I’d also advise that you allow one to be the more bold print, unless the stripes are similar in size and in hue and you’re trying to achieve a one piece look (such as a skirt and top of a similar or same print and you want it to look like a dress). I went with similar tights and booties and simple jewelry as well to keep the focus on the prints themselves. Have you tried print mixing lately? It’s fun! Don’t be afraid to be adventurous 🙂

Hope you all have a great day today! I’m actually getting my hair cut this morning 🙂 It’s about time, too! It was getting to be quite unmanageable… plus, I pretty much literally won’t have any time after this week until after the holidays, or at least until the week of the holidays, and who wants to wait until then?! Happy Tuesday!

❤Britt
