I wore this casual look for a day of appointments for Amelia (causal and comfortable is key when chasing around a wild 21 month old toddler!) recently. I have to say, sometimes I’m lucky if I wear a nice pair of leggings to her appointments but it’s nice to feel a little bit put together when leaving the house and going out in public. Cardigans and chunky sweaters are typically my fall go to pieces but since I don’t have many chunky sweaters that cover this bump (and let’s be honest, this shirt is barely making the cut, too), cardigans have been on repeat lately.


I also like to add a bold lip color when I have a lot of neutrals going on in a look. Deep shades of reds, berries, and wines are my favorite right now and though they’re great for fall, they’ll also work right through the holidays, too!

Happy Wednesday! I meant to get this post up yesterday but never got around to it so I hope you enjoy it today! I’m 34 weeks this week and I can’t believe how fast the time is going! We’ve been working on a lot of house projects namely giving Amelia a brand new room (that’s mostly finished- just a few more things to hang on the walls- I’ll be sharing a reveal soon!), redecorating the nursery (we didn’t have to paint but we did rip up the carpet and that took a lot more time than we anticipated. We just got to the point this week where I was able to clean it and get all the furniture in place so we can finally start adding the final touches!), and repainting the whole downstairs (this was a last minute throw-in but I decided I was tired of the colors that we had because nesting… we haven’t repainted or redecorated since moving in over 6 years ago so our style has changed quite a bit). I’ll be sharing photos of everything soon- I’m trying to do a deep clean of the whole house before the baby, too, so keep your fingers crossed I get it all done (and for my & Joe’s sanity!)!
