I have to confess, I’m not much of a night owl. Usually, I like to be in bed by 10:30 and though I do like to go out every once in a while, I like to be home at a decent hour. One of the major reasons is (no, not because I’m boring!) that I’m a morning person. Even on the weekends I like to be up and moving around early (usually I’m out of bed by 7:30) so on nights that we don’t get home until late, I’m exhausted the next day (since I don’t really like to sleep in regardless of what time I go to sleep). But, on nights that we do venture out, I like to stick to some variation of this formula: skinny jeans, heels, statement piece of jewelry, and a bright lip. Also, if I need a jacket, I prefer a blazer to a cardigan or sweater- I’m still looking for a bright blazer for spring!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was really nice even though it was a bit busy. We had some good food, lots of laughs, colored eggs, and spent a lot of time with family… can’t ask for much more (except to maybe have off from work on Monday!)!
