Spring with Everlane

I recently got this dress from Everlane and I’m obsessed! Previously, I had already loved Everlane for their soft, practical, and affordable (and they show you where each item is made and how much it costs to make) tees (I have 6) so I really wanted to try something different from them. I opted for this tee shirt dress and am really happy with it. I’ve been really into softer colors lately but I still love a good bold, classic color and this red stripe pattern is no exception.

What I love even more than the color and the material is the versatility of the dress. I love that it will go with everything and that it can easily be dressed up or down and even worn as a beach coverup when it’s hot enough! I’m looking forward to wearing it sans sweater and with some cute sandals in the summer months and pairing it with some sneakers and maybe even a baseball cap for running errands. And while I love the red stripe with the red lip, I think it would look really cute with a bright pink lip, too! Really fun for summer!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a happy Monday! The weather has been beautiful here so I’ve been really wanting to do some spring cleaning. I’ve been trying to do at least one thing a day since my two littles monopolize most of my time, rightfully so, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Amelia loves to play in the dirt and just to be outside so I’ve been doing my best to make sure we spend a decent amount of time outdoors each day. We’ve been planting seeds, staining our backyard fence, and re-potting plants and it’s such a breath of fresh air (see what I did there?!) to be able to open the windows and turn off the heat. I’m also really excited this week because my younger sister is due with her first baby on Friday (it’s a girl!)!

Here’s to a great week! I’m still working on figuring out our routine over here. I feel like every time I get something down something else changes. I’ve also been trying to get better at meal planning and incorporating more fresh foods than not into our diet which should be so much easier than it actually is! I love eating fresh fruits and vegetables but sometimes I feel like it’s such a hassle to get them! I’m also going room by room to see what else I can simplify around here- I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed and cluttered again lately and no amount of list making seems to be helping!
