A lightweight, cotton pencil skirt is definitely one of my summer staples. You can dress it up or down and still look put together and professional and it’s also perfect for transitioning from day to night. I would add a pair of heels, a clutch, and a statement piece of jewelry to this look (and take off the cardigan or swap it out for a more fun option such as a striped blazer or patterned sweater) and you’re good to go!
