I’m not sure why it never occurred to me to wear a peplum top this way before, but I didn’t think to tuck it in as a different way to style it until I came across a feature in Glamour about different ways to style your basics. I like the fact that when tucked in, it almost looks like an entirely different top than when worn as a peplum style top (note: try with a high waisted skirt).

I’m excited for today because it’s my birthday! My mom is making me dinner so I don’t have to cook when I get home from work (because I didn’t take off today even though I probably should have!) and my sweet in-laws brought me a cake last night 🙂 I’ve also already gotten so many touching texts and messages this morning- I have the best friends and family!
