Floral Dress for Easter & Mi.iM Shoes

I recently received these handwoven mules from Mi.iM and I’m obsessed! I’d been looking for a pair of woven mules for a few seasons now with spring in mind and I came across these on Instagram and fell in love with the soft gray color. I really love how they both ground and bring out the bright violet hues of this dress!

Mi.iM, or Miracle Miles, is a brand that focuses on high quality, which I love because I’m trying to phase out “fast fashion.” Attention to detail is their highest priority and it really shows in these shoes from the padded foot bed to the gorgeous weaving to the perfect gray and soft texture of the material. They also offer free shipping and returns which is huge for me when deciding where to shop!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you also know that I love floral dresses and this one is no exception. The timeless silhouette and the bright violet color with the flowers in different shades of blue is just so pretty! I bought it with the intention of wearing it on Easter and because it can be dressed up or dressed down and worn to anything from a bridal or baby shower to date night to Sunday brunch. I would even consider wearing this to a wedding (think outdoor wedding) and it would definitely work for a rehearsal dinner.

I styled it with a jean jacket here (I’ve had this one since somewhere around eighth grade! No, I’m not kidding and it’s from Old Navy) because I wanted something to make it feel a little more casual. I also really like how the blue of the denim looks against the violet of the dress. You could also pair it with a gray cardigan or wrap, cream, or even a softer shade of blue would complement the dress. It’s nice that it has long sleeves, too, because it gives you a little more wearability in the spring and even into the fall!

Love this hand woven texture! The color is so much prettier in person, too!

I really love the spring and it seems like we’ve somewhat missed it this year with our heads clouded with this renovation. Every free moment we have we’ve been working on the house! I know it will be so worth it when we’re finished and it’s a good feeling to put so much hard work into something and make it your own so I’m trying to not focus on all the walks and flower viewing we’ve missed!

Happy Thursday, guys! Have you been following along on Instagram with our house progress? Our floors are almost done (they’ll do one more coat after everything else is done in case anything gets scuffed or marked), cabinets are in as of yesterday, we’re waiting to hear whether we can get the quartz counters that we want (there’s only 1 slab left, of course, so we’re hoping to be able to use a remnant… fingers crossed!) and they’ll be templated tomorrow! I went over yesterday to try and get the kids’ rooms set up for them (I’m SO happy I painted them… if anyone needed a push to leave the white behind!) and I’m mostly done…I don’t know who can do anything with two toddlers either fighting or undoing whatever it is you just did but I did my best, haha! Next I need to get our room situated and to clear out the guest room because that’s a mess! Wish me luck, or send help! Hope you have a great weekend 🙂

Shop more floral dresses (many are Nordstrom which you can shop online and pick up in store or Shopbop which you may be able to get by Saturday!):
