My Spring Wish List

square sunglasses, tank, circle bag, mules, loafer, sweater, natural deodorant, dress, round sunglasses, tote, tee, bracelet, lip balm, shorts

Ok, so obviously I’m into ALL the colors this season… I’m finding I’m really drawn to reds, yellows, greens, blues, pinks, and lavender or lilac shades (which is pretty much every color, I know). I also really like amber right now… and light blue. Ugh! I still haven’t bought anything since January but I have a lot of items in my Nordstrom cart (it’s bonus points time through March 17th!) and a few tees in my Everlane cart that I will be purchasing (to be fair, some of the items are for Joe).

White sneakers are really big this spring, too (they’re not my favorite so they didn’t make this list)! But if I was to try a pair, I do like these ones and here’s a white leather version if you worry about white canvas getting dirty easily (I do- anyone else wear white sneakers- Keds, which I do love- or “bo bo’s” growing up? They always got so dirty!). Also, these are totally Spice Girl shoes and I actually kind of love them! Alright, so maybe I just talked myself into participating in the white sneaker trend (which is nice because they are also classic so you don’t have to worry about buying a pair & never wearing them again!)!

Also leopard is back in a big way… not that it ever went anywhere because it’s also a classic, but this season it’s all over dresses, skirts (I love this one!), jackets, and shoes (I know, it’s been a shoe thing for a while)! Also, slip-like midi skirts. So basically the late 90’s/early 2000’s when you’d wear a spaghetti strap top, platform sandals or sneakers, and a slinky midi skirt… probably one of my favorite eras for everyday style so I’m here for it (think Practical Magic and 10 Things I Hate About You!)!

Do you guys have anything fun planned for this weekend? We’re meeting with our contractor today to finalize our kitchen layout (did you see my kitchen design inspiration post?) and to get our cabinets ordered so I’m excited for that! Also, we’ve been doing some serious yard work to get our backyard ready for grass seed and it’s a mess so we’ll probably be doing more of that this weekend. Then I can officially focus on getting Amelia’s big girl room set up and ready for when we can move back in to our house! Hope you have a great weekend! Thanks so much for reading, guys!!

Sincerely, Britt
